Sheb True is a Professor of Marketing and Sr. International Officer and Special Assistant to the Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He is also the Founder of  Georgia Advancing Veterans Education, Director of Coverdale Fellowship program for Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, and the Director of the U.N. PRME program.  He joined the faculty in 1998 and served as Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs and the Director of the MBA (achieving a ranking of # 22 in the USA by BusinessWeek.  He has published over 50 articles and edited 4 books, created/edited the Journal of Executive Education, led/participated in international programs for students and faculty in 54 countries.   He consultants for organizations on marketing strategy and leadership.  Sheb received his Ph.D. from the University of Mississippi, an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University.  He has been certified as a Master Teacher, completed programs at the Harvard Business School for teaching the case method and at the American Graduate School of Business for teaching international marketing, and was a tenured faculty member at Loyola Marymount University.

 

Dr. Claude Chailan is currently Professor and Programme Director at EM Strasbourg Business School.  EM Strasbourg is the fast-developing business school of the University of Strasbourg, ranked amongst the 100 best universities worldwide.

Claude has a great amount of international experience, having lived, studied and worked in many different countries all along his professional life. Prior to joining the academia, Dr. Chailan held high-level positions in international management from 1985 to 2000, including senior positions at Dannon, Sara Lee and L’Oréal.  He was actively involved in the development of international brands in several countries, as COO or CEO of these international companies’ local subsidiaries.

He has taught at various institutes around the world, including SWUFE in Chengdu, ESAN in Lima, ESA in Beirut, CFVG in Hanoï, UniAndes in Bogota and Aalto EE in Taïwan and has consulted for a number of national and international companies including: L’Oréal, Virbac, Leclerc, Extrême or Al Marsa. Dr Chailan’s research focuses on the links between marketing and strategy in the fields of Goods and Services Management, Business Models, Revenue Management, and International Business.

Claude’s work has been widely published in leading academic journals including: The Journal of Marketing Management, The Journal of Product and Brand Management, Euromed Journal of Business, The International Journal of Trade and Global Markets, The Journal of Competitiveness and Strategy, Critical Perspectives on International Business and the Journal of Business Research to name a few. Dr Chailan received his Master’s degree from ESSEC Business School in Paris and his diploma in Political Sciences from IEP – Aix-en-Provence. He also holds a PhD. in Management from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis.

 

Professor Eric Tsui is Associate Director of  the Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Center (KMIRC) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  He joined the Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in 1989 after years of academic research in automated knowledge acquisition, natural language processing, case-based reasoning and knowledge engineering tools. He has designed and delivered numerous public and custom-designed knowledge management and technologies workshops. His research strengths include cloud-based business innovation and knowledge services. He has also consulted for many government departments and private organizations in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malayasia, Thailand and Brunei. With a strong passion in teaching, Eric Tsui is the program leader of Asia’s only master degree in Knowledge Management which is delivered in a blended learning environment. He joined The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2005 after working for CSC Australia for 16 years on artificial intelligence and knowledge management. An honorary advisor to three HK government departments, he has received many international teaching awards and is listed as one of PolyU’s Exemplary Academics in the latest annual report. He has received more than HK$5.6m of funding for E-Learning projects in the last 6 years.

 

Juan Manuel Rodríguez Poo holds a Ph.D in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He is currently Professor of Economics at the Universidad de Cantabria in Spain

and he has previously taught at the universities of the Basque Country and Zaragoza in Spain, Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse and Université de Genève in Switzerland. He is interested in the application of quantitative techniques, basically nonparametric and semiparametric inference, to the analysis of economic problems. Within this area of research he has been director of several competitive research projects and he has published his results several international scientific journals. Furthermore, he has been director of the Regional Bureau of Statistics in Cantabria and advisor of the President of the Spanish National Bureau of Statistics.
